The hair ornament she's wearing is something that a geisha would not wear. It's something only geishas in training (or maiko) would wear.
Especially the silk flower ornament is a dead giveaway. It's only worn by maiko in their first year of training, I believe. That's were they also only paint their lower lip red. So the design doesn't add up.
Not trying to be a douche here. I don't believe this to be commonly known information. On the other hand, you might've already known all this and still drew it the way you did. It does look great.
